Ofalia Ho

Position: Undergraduate Research Student (SCIE3241)
Education: Bachelor of Environmental Sciences (Honours), The University of Queensland
Research Project: "Do cleaner fish affect the long-term abundance and size distribution of gnathiid isopods emerging from the reef?"
Ofalia will be collating data from all trips to the Lizard Island experimental sites (2000-2012), to explore the effect of cleaner fish removal and other explanatory variables on gnathiid size (using head width measurements). This analysis will be conducted as part of the lab’s overarching research question on cleaning symbiosis, fish behaviour, marine parasitology, and impacts on coral reef ecology.
